What are your thoughts on having a discord server for the community?
I'm not against this. It is unlikely that we (the moderators) would manage such a server though, and we would bare no responsibility for what happens on the server.
I would happily moderate a community based discord. I would like it to keep the same rules as the forums, as i think its more fun here without the vulgarity as is.
We just thought it would be more active and there are no intentions of putting the responsibilities of the server on the mods
The new invites will appear here from now on:https://discord.gg/4K4bQ
Then, in my opinion, feel free to do so
This is the link required to join the server, you can run discord through your browser or through their separate application.
I should also mention, I'm likely not to be on it much, if at all, just being honest
That is completely fine :3
The discord is up and running
Dont forget that anyone can join. We have reworked our moderation style to be more professional and things should be even better now. (not that it was bad to begin with minus one little mistake)
Just a heads-up, you need to update people on the forums witht he link in case they want to join, because it expires every 24 hrs
Here's a new link, since I'm not sure if that one expired or not. https://discord.gg/YBV2C
The daily update is available on an earlier post from now on
Could you please update the first post rather than adding a new link as a new post every day
I may or may not keep forgetting to update this, so if you need an invite just message me and I will send you one
This is still an active thing by the way. We always welcome new members
All invites to the server are only available by request now.
I'm more of an IRC person. If anyone considers a channel on Freenode or Furnet, I will gladly join it.
