A thread dedicated to giving new/ different ideas to anyone looking for something new.

    Quick rules.

    • No more than 7 ingredients.
    • No more than an hour to prepare.
    • Pre-heating does not contribute to the hour but should be included
    • Anyone can post their recipe, but if someone does not recognize or is unsure of an ingredient
make sure to look online or ask someone if it looks right or not.

    Let's start with something simple.

    • Long grain rice, (microwavable, Uncle Ben's rice packets would be an example)
    • Grated Cheese, (I've found mild to strong cheddar works the best)

    • Optional, pinch of salt, sliced ham, sliced mushrooms (should be fried), croutons (for that extra crunch)

    • Microwave your rice till cooked (instructions should be on the back of the packet)

    • Add cheese to the packet till your preference place in microwave on low for 30 seconds
    • When done mix cheese/rice in a clean bowl and enjoy!
    • Optional ingredients should be added afterwards

Oh, hello! Didn't see you there! I'm FCJ, and today on the Faggy Waggy Kitchen show we will learn how to make a cake in a mug. Yep, all you need is a mug, some cooking stuffthings and a microwave. Lettuce do this!

You will require the following ingredients:

    • 4 tablespoons flour - (Make sure you measure it right, or the cake is a fake!)
    • 4 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa - (Eventually, get sweertened cocoa and add a little bit less sugar)
    • 2 tablespoons whisked egg - (A whole egg is too much, 1 yolk will be too dense and 1 egg white will be too eggy, but 2 tblsps is just right!)
    • 3 tablespoons oil
    • 2 tablespoons milk
*For a fudgier version, omit the egg.
**I recommend to add a splash of vanilla, and/or anything you want to experiment with, from chocolate chips to jelly beans, unless the ingredients shrink to the point of them being invisible/swallowed by a black hole that the microwave creates.

Now let's get to THE COOKING!

    • Add all of the dry ingredients to the mug and mix.
    • Add the egg and combine well, the mixture should get pretty pasty past this point.
    • Stir in milk and oil.
    • Add your additional ingredients (or don't).
    • Microwave for 3 minutes in a 1000W oven and 4 minutes in a 700W oven. If it will start rising over the mug, don't worry, it will collapse after the microwave's heating magic stops.
And there you have it peoples, your very own cake in a mug. Be sure to consume it quickly, or it will get really dry after a while, and you'll be sad 'cause your self-made tasty treat turned into a rock.

That's it for today's Faggy Waggy Kitchen show folks, have fun eating!
