I'm on Mac, OSX Yosemite 10.10.5, and tried Fursona Maker. Haven't tried Amorous in a while, but I wanted to use FM. I followed the steps and used Keka to unzip it. Set it to where any app could run, and it still said "Unable to open app."

    What do?

You don't have to be smug, I can read... It was a honest question. Anyway, v0.2 released, please try that. Be sure to pick a 16:9 resolution at the start, otherwise it'll glitch.

I wasn't being smug. I was simply showing what I put to try and resolve any possible skim reading? o_O

When did v0.2 drop because I downloaded my copy the day I wrote this article.

It came across as being smug to me, you could have said like "I did that as part of the steps described", instead of just quoting yourself. Anyway, water under the bridge.

As for the issue, it's either one of the following:
    > Incompatible with Yosemite (unlikely)
    > Zip-file is corrupt (likely)
    > Zip-tool doesn't extract properly, but doesn't error on you either (maybe)

I'd try a different unzip tool first.

FM v0.2 came out like 1 hour ago, so hot off the press! :)

What else would you recommend besides Keka? And I looked for a download, but all I found was the same way I got it the first time (through the Patreon page). I've never had Keka mess up before though unless the file was unusable to Macs, whereas this isn't.

[IMG] Every time I try the old one and new one with it set up how I'm supposed to have it.

It could be the binary inside the app is not executable, open a terminal, cd to the folder which contains the .app then do:
    Code:
    chmod 755 FursonaMaker.app/Contents/MacOS/FursonaMaker
Otherwise, try starting the app from the terminal (or run the binary above directly):
    Code:
    open FursonaMaker.app
    This should give more information.

    "cd to the folder"...?

I did the latter and it said "app does not exist."

You have to open a terminal, and then use the cd-command to go to the place where you extracted the app - if you extracted to your Applications-folder, it's as simple as "cd /Applications".

Once there, this is also the place where you type "open FursonaMaker.app" (or however you renamed it, since the screenshot shows "FursonaMaker 2").

I don't know what a "cd-command" is. Do I still need to do this if the second route said the app didn't exist?
